The book is in two parts. The first is written in a format Terry Brake calls an instructional soap opera. He takes you into an imaginary company called The Fun House, a maker of electronic games. Once inside you are swept up in the turbulent life of Will Williams. His boss has been invited onto TV to talk about the workplace revolution, and she asks Will to write a briefing report for her. To produce the report, Will collaborates with colleagues around the world, and the process is enlightening, even hilarious.

The second part is Will�s comprehensive Briefing Report organized into The Six Cs of Global Collaboration: Cooperation, Convergence, Coordination, Capability, Communication, and Cultural Intelligence.
